Our study of the rock cycle will be brief, however if this is a topic that you really enjoy, then I would consider taking a geology course in post-secondary.
There will be a brief quiz at the beginning of tuesday's class, focusing primarily on the rock cycle, and the two articles given out last day in class (Algae for Oil, Great Barrier Reef).
Tomorrow we will do a hands-on activity with some rock samples, and then examine sedimentary rocks (case study: coral reefs) in more detail.
