Glacier Review

Sorry for the delay in posting, Ms. Sawatsky has a bit of Olympic fever. Next day we will have a test on glaciers - with a few questions on rivers and caves included. There will be a picture section where you will have to identify different features from pictures. From there, we will move on to coastlines and deserts, our final section of the gradational forces unit.

In terms of review for the glacier unit, it is important that you have a clear knowledge of the key vocabulary terms, as well as the erosional and depositional features. You also should be familiar with the human and physical impacts of melting glaciers. The unit outline is attached here.

  2. Wrong. There will be a few questions on the test, which I guess you have now found out. Note that if you send me a post at midnight the night before a test, it is unlikely that I will be able to clarify, or respond to this post. Also note that attending class is the easiest way to stay on top of your game. See you on Monday.
