ok, its time to prepare for your gradational unit exam. Today we finished up glaciers, and discussed continental glaciers. We also outlined the unit test next day. Here are some things to get you started.

Notes - Continental Glaciers
Your test is on Unit 3 ~ Water, and it includes all six chapters. Please keep in mind that the majority of the test will be on Glaciers, Rivers, Coastlines and Water Issues. Ch.4 in the unit is more for reference, rather than one to study strictly. Please also note that I am looking for key themes surrounding water, not necessarily all strict details.
What to study?
1. Focus is on glaciers and coastlines - here is a list of terms that will help you prepare.
3. Review your river quiz. Some of those questions will show up again.
4. Go to the provincial exam website and do some practice tests - find the gradational section (erosion, etc.) and do the questions.
5. Review Chapter 1, 5, 6 - Water Issues and Pollution. Refresh your memory regarding your presentation. Read over some of the case studies in the section (Antarctica, Venice, Great Lakes) - those might be helpful.
6. Think about the water videos that we watched - why is there a scarcity, who uses water the most, what are some solutions to water issues?
7. How does water pollution and water shortage affect: people, environment, animals
Hopefully this helps.

- Those of you that were away last day - examine this image of moraine (rock material that has been deposited due to frost shatter). This will be on the test and you missed it! Also review the notes above on continental glaciers.
