Natural Disasters Essay

Last day we began our discussion of natural disasters, including hurricanes and tornadoes.  Today we continued that discussion, and began examining why some natural hazards actually have "unnatural causes."  We began planning our essay that is due next week, where you will have to research a natural disaster of your choice, and relate it to class discussion.

Natural disasters include:

• hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, wildfires, earthquakes, volcanoes

We also began our study of weather maps, and received a booklet that is due for next class.
