Today we began our third unit of the year - gradational forces. We also reviewed our unit tests from the tectonics unit - reminder that the re-test will be on Thursday, November 8, 2018.
Today we did the following:
1. Examined the basics of the gradational cycle - and its goal of leveling the earth and bringing it to base level/sea level.
2. We looked at different places around the world that are shaped by weathering and erosion.
3. We examined the different types of physical and chemical weathering, as well as where it takes place.
4. We examined the different types of Mass Wasting, and looked at strategies to help us prevent damage from landslides, erosion, etc.
Here is today's handout - and here is today's powerpoint.
