A key theme that we discussed were possible innovations and inventions that are taking place in these extreme climates. One of the themes on your test will be Technological Innovations & their specific relationship to arid regions.
Homework - Review the case study of Desertification in the Sahel. You received a case study handout that you will need, as well as this Assignment Handout: Humans and Deserts
This should be complete for the beginning of next class. Unit test on Rivers & Humans and Deserts/Desertification will be next Friday.
