I hope that you are having a great day, and enjoying the sunshine. Thanks for being flexible yesterday, and for accommodating the change in schedule. Just a couple of updates:
- Reminder - Alternate Assignment on Air Pollution is due Saturday
- You must have watched the powerpoint lecture from Teams before you do any of the work today
- You will have a quiz on the Atmosphere basics, Clouds, Orographic Precipitation and Glaciers on Monday/Tuesday. Quiz outline will be posted tomorrow
ASSIGNMENT FOR TODAY:
PART 1 - The Facts - watch and take notes on the powerpoint - refer to Chapter 13 in your Study Guide if you have questions on the glacial features
2. Watch the following video clips and take notes

PART 2 - The Fun (hopefully!)
Google Earth Tour - go through the following Tour that Ms. Sawatsky has created for you.
- Ensure that you are reading the text boxes for each location
- Looking at the different photos
- Moving the locations and maps around to check out the different places

- Once the tour opens, click on PRESENT! Or the Play button, then there should be 8 locations for you to take a look at.
Now, its your turn. On your own, or with a partner, create a Glacier Tour using Google Earth. Here is the assignment criteria.
I have started doing a practice Tour on the Khumbu Glacier (located by Mount Everest), you can check it out here to get some ideas. Note, its very much a draft, I was just playing around.
