The Ocean - Understanding our 'Blue Planet'

 We have reached the close of our 'Source to Sea' unit.  Our rivers have washed up on our shorelines, and we have explored the rich biodiversity that exists along our coastlines.  We have taken a look at: 

  • Importance of Oceans
  • Risks Facing Oceans
  • Key Species that are endangered: Spotlight on Sharks
  • Human Connection to Oceans 
As part of our study, we have examined several different visual resources, taking a look at many different ocean ecosystems including the Kelp Forests on Cape of Storms, in South Africa.
