We're back from Christmas Break! Last class we began our introduction to Unit Three: Water. We read over the opening 2 pages together, and then discussed the flooding in Australia, as well as basic issues concerning water scarcity. We also discussed the water cycle in detail.
Here are some notes on the water, as well as the water cycle. Your homework was to read the article "Water Woes" - and write down 3 interesting facts about the article. You are also required to find a current event article about water - (scarcity, pollution, rivers, anything to do with water) and summarize it for next class. You should have a basic paragraph summary, and be able to present your ideas to the class.
Here are some helpful sites about water.
