Today was a continuation of last day's webquest in the library on rivers.
We are examining the way in which humans interact with rivers and how this relationship can be both sacred and harmful.
You have two options for this assignment. Here is the physical copy of the assignment with the detailed criteria.
OPTION 1 - Be Creative
We are examining the way in which humans interact with rivers and how this relationship can be both sacred and harmful.
You have two options for this assignment. Here is the physical copy of the assignment with the detailed criteria.
OPTION 1 - Be Creative
- Continue on with the story/poem/art piece that you chose last day, that connected to a river. Find 2-3 complementary items that connect to a river and demonstrate the ways in which humans are interconnected to the river system.
- Analyse the 'lessons/teachings' that we can learn from these source materials.
OPTION 2 - Be Analytic
- Choose a river that is AT RISK. Then do a spatial analysis explaining why it's at risk (causes, effects, solutions, challenges to solving problem)
YOU WILL PRESENT THIS ASSIGNMENT TO ME INDIVIDUALLY IN A CONFERENCE WHERE YOU WILL BE ASSESSED FOR THE ANALYSIS AND PRESENTATION SKILLS COMPONENT.
