Hello! Summer is officially over and it is the start of fall. It definitely feels like it today. Hopefully you can get comfortable at home, and spend the afternoon inside.
We are about to start our second unit of the course - it is called TECTONICS - and it will include the study of plate boundaries, volcanoes, earthquakes and hot springs. We will study how they are created, and how they impact humans, the land, and species.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR TODAY'S LESSON
1. Watch Ms. Sawatsky's powerpoint - should be videotaped
A brief overview of the unit, including some beautiful landforms ('features' in geo-speak) that exist on planet earth that Ms. Sawatsky will show you.
